Melanie Grant is a mixed media artist, bookbinder, and maker of handcrafted tools for fellow creatives. With a foundation in design and architecture from Washington State University and decades of experience as a fiber artist, Melanie’s work weaves together structure, texture, and storytelling.
Now based in the quiet beauty of Northern Idaho, she crafts one-of-a-kind books, stitched pouches, and layered collages—objects that invite curiosity, hold meaning, and celebrate the creative process. Her pieces have appeared in galleries and print alike, but her favorite place to be is at the worktable, surrounded by fabric scraps, ink stains, and the hum of new ideas.
